lately...

So, I've realized I haven't updated our blog as recently as I had planned!  School started, and things have been so crazy ever since.  Robinson is wonderful, and I love my students...well most of them! :)  But, I'll say now, being a teacher isn't as easy as it looks.  There is so much planning to do and I hadn't expected it to be this much work.  Don't get me wrong, I still love it, and I still know I am doing what the Lord has called me to do, but it's challenging!  Right now, I'm just trying to keep my head above water!  I found out that I'm going to be the UIL Accounting coach for this year, and that starts tomorrow, and I still haven't done anything!  Tomorrow will be interesting!  Thank you for letting me vent! :)

In other news, Graham has be the sweetest husband you could possibly imagine.  I spent last week very sick, and he was so sweet to do pretty much everything for me!  In addition, Friday was my birthday, and he woke me up early to make me breakfast.  But by far the sweetest thing he has done yet since we've been married happened today.  I suppose it's not the actual act that was so sweet, it was the time that he spent that was so special.  I have spent the past couple of days with a miserable sinus headache.  I may have a sinus infection, but we all know I have no time to go to a doctor to get medicine.  So, today went on as planned, and it was lunchtime.  I spent my lunch trying to catch up and get ahead for the week with my lesson plans, and I headed to the office to make copies.  I walked in and the secretary smiled at me and said she had something for me.  Pat never has anything for me so I was surprised.  She pulled out a package of Sudafed Sinus Headache medicine and written on it was "Erin Musgrove Room 115" in a familiar boy's handwriting.  Yes, you've guessed right.  Graham took his entire lunch break and went to the store to buy me medicine, drove all the way out to Robinson to deliver it, and all without me knowing!  Seriously, does it get much better than that?  I love him so very much!

As I was typing I thought of so many other sweet things he has done since we've been married, but I suppose I'll save those for another day.  He says dinner is done heating now, so I'll go, but I figured everyone should know about the sweetest boy I know!

(Love you Graham!)

Love,

Erin

Welcome to the Musgrove Blog!

Thank you for reading our first blog post!  Graham and I are so excited that you are interested in our lives enough to check in on us!  Currently, there are lots of exciting things going on in our lives, so we'll just briefly fill you in.

Graham has been very busy at work completing the final stages of the asphalt paver that he and his company have been designing.  They have already built and shipped two of their first design.  Basically, when there's a problem, they call on Graham.  They say, "Graham, we couldn't figure this out, but we know you can so...here you go," and he just does it.  That's how smart he is.  Yes, it's mind boggling.  They have two more designs to build, and then he moves on to even bigger and better things!
I have been busy preparing to teach High School Geometry at Robinson High School.  Officially, school starts on Tuesday, and I think I'm almost ready.  I have my classroom all set up, and my lesson plans ready.  The teachers in the math department are wonderful, and they have so many helpful tips to share.  I am truly blessed to be a part of this school district!
In Toby news, things are pretty much the same.  In the morning, we go outside, run around, then come back inside to get ready.  When mom and dad leave for the day, Toby sleeps on the bed and the couch.  (You might say he's spoiled....)  Graham comes home for lunch, and typically Toby loses the racquetball under the couch about 15 times before Graham has to go back to work.  When we come home in the afternoon, it's outside to run around and throw the ball.  Then we all come inside, and by the time we go to sleep, we've fished the racquetball out from under the couch at least another 30 times.  It's a pain for us, but he loves it!
Hopefully, as time goes on, I'll get better at finding interesting things to talk about, but for now, we want to be able to keep everyone updated on what's going on in Waco!  We love you all!

Blessings!
Graham and Erin
